My brain broke halfway through reading the Wall-Strafing one.

It would seem to me that if you were running into the wall at an angle you'd actually be slowing down, since your velocity is now directed into an object... or maybe I read it wrong, I'm not sure.

Klepto, I think what he is trying to say is that the same distance is traveled, over the same amount of time, but in the direction of the wall. This causes an increase in speed? I dunno, correct if wrong.
