If you report I will add it to the first post (this one). Please also talk about it! Not that just one person wants it an the other 10 not...

Things that should be added:
- Picking up weapons from other classes.
- A map with knife only.
- A map with panzer only (so brundlefly_terrain cna be sniper only)

- Some problems with custom made commands (!smoke, !beer, !pizza)
- Hunkmegs problem in the map fueldump.

Mm.. those hitsounds are pretty wierd, i prefer usual sounds. emot_bigsmile.gif Also medic paks as pizza boxes are wierd but that doesnt need to be fixed, I will get used to those. :P Im not sure what I think about disabling the double jump in all 6 maps.. but for example in battery it helps allies really much, i dunno is that a good or bad thing. emot_smile.gif

Already said this on server. Pizza as MedPack , Saber as Knife and Bomb as dyno.. take the "original" factor of B6 to a custom one. So delete it, if it is not possible to make it optional for ppl wjo love those kiddie specials.

I am also a fan of pure settings and prefer to play against humans over playing against bots.

So I'd like to see original hitsounds, no double jump and no bots.

When I connect to a server my /cl_allowdownload is always on 0 and I haven't seen the pizza or sabers yesterday night nor did I get disconnected because of missing packs. Unfortunately this option only works if you have anything else necessary already on your disk like etpub client 0.8 and the maps used by the server. So I'd make the extra fun stuff aswell as news files and fun vsays optional.

The soldier bots act somehow weird because they seem to always use a flamer but most of the time they stand around on some spot with their knife out and only when you come close they switch to flamer and try to kill you. So once you know where they idle you can take them out from a distance which imo is not really challenging.

Besides that the server runs great and is a place to have a good time.

About hitsounds this is in the server.cfg file:

set g_hitsound_team_head "sound/weapons/impact/flesh4.wav"

I have no idea what the standard hitsounds are, but this ones are the standard etmain hitsounds.

Note that these are server cvars. If you want to use hitsounds that are not included in the game you'll have to put them in a pk3 for all clients to download. Your custom hitsounds must be 22khz, 16 bit, mono WAV files in order for ET to be able to use them.


@AndiN: We already have a optional news pack; download here

Maybe just put 2 bot sin the server, so people still can have a bit fun when nobody is online...

EDIT: huh all of the other sounds don't work, like killingspree, rampage etc... g_fightSound, g_poisonSound etc... Maybe g0rt or nevermore cna help?

playing there today noticed some stuff:


- rifle and sniperrifle can't be reloaded, only when your clip is empty
- FF is off but still teammates are able to trip mines and die because of it
- every round, omnibot[1] connected and gets kicked for guidspoofing
- killingspree messages are cool, but there are also deathspree messages, and the bots have allot of those, what results in a spam of deathspree messages.
- also hitsounds don't really work in the beginning, i downloaded the file but only had the spree sounds, when i restarted my ET it did work. (Vicious and me)Think it would be best tho if you split up the hitsounds file and the other sound files.

Thx, I will look into it when I have time... Monday will be my first stage (training period) day as carpenter (not sure if this are the right words)... And then I don't have so much free time anymore as I have right now... But still enough to fix b6 :P ;)

B6 is up again, but still needs alot of pimping :D

I removed the fun dynamite and the chicken granade, they don't seem to work with nq 1.2.9... lol when i add them, the axis have chicken nade and dyna, but can't blow up yourself with dyna... when your allies you have the standard granade (so no chicken one) and you can't kill yourself and you have dyna but can't blow yourself up with dyna.

No worries, I find something else that is fun :D any way we still have !news, fun vsays, fun medic packs, fun binoculars (not sure if they work, somebody need to help) and other fun things.
