Not to repeat myself but again a much awaited and long overdue!

New campaign loaded - July 11, 2016

I guess many going call for help to change map again. I guess all can recall it easy.

just a heads up, secret bay the allied bots stop assaulting once flag is captured, (they spend the rest of the map getting crushed by the elevator next to flag)

Also
Alpine assault appears to be headshot only (and the bots rule and win quickly with such a setting)

Yes a few maps are less then perfect. Alpine Assault was set to headshot only on purpose. Its close range for the most part and a change of pace. Just like Sniper Castle. Change of pace.

alpine assault - actually it's a rapid win to the allied medic that's hopping with the health, the only delay in game is when bots get it first. longest version has lasted almost 2 minutes for that map

Some others discovered today

Castle sniper map was NOT headshot and when I reconnected from spec (after dinner) I spawned as an eng with a thompson :O

Also the CTF map with the screaming germans/allies calling spawns and flags needs to either get muted or something. I (and many others now) leave when it comes up as it's worse than the !news spam got on b2 way back when.


Also gort can you dig up info on the designer of the UJE Ambush map? It was either made by my old friend (and wild west mapper Gringo Starr) or someone stole his TDM Canyon map (including wistles in the trees that summon the large eagles with the health bombs) I'd very much like to reconnect with him (as there's a big resurgance in the wild west mapping community.)
I've done some digging but only find download sites and not map designer info.

Axis needs to defend the objective on Alpine Assault. Key is to circle strife.

Caslte Sniper you can spawn as anything you want. Only bots spawn automatically as coverts and any other class is silly to be as its SNIPER Castle not ENGIE Castle..

Cant help you on UJE. Sry.

Ramelle? I will have to look into mute. I think there is a client side command tho. Anyone know it?

hmm it's not just me, seems we have an exodus when the noisy ramell map comes on to just new players and the bots (and they former don't usually last the eternal length of the map (that never is won by either side)

Its not based on capture the flag. Its a pure time limit thing. Whoever has most flags at end (I believe)

yes. Purely a fragfest map. Some day I will replace this map in the campaign.. unless some one else steps up before me.

well, I took a look at the waypointed file list at the Omin-bot web site (I didn't realize that list was so freakin short). I don't have the time to go through each one to find another capture the flag map (looks like Cluedo isn't waypointed?). So I went strictly by name...how about we give UJE_the_ghetto a try, along with the waypoint file?

Alternatively, we could try Snatch!, along with the waypoint file. I think B1 was playing this for a while (might still be). It has a 80% rating...

Snatch was already in the last campaign. There are many more maps waypointed. Download the Omnibot 0.71 install pack, extract the custom.zip (or pk3) file and look in that for the stock 0.71 waypointed files. The online chart is only what has been modified or new since the last release.

actually as a frag map it's not bad. Any chance on just stripping out the audio files of the screaming (axis definately but also allies) and putting the bodged silent version up instead? The noise is the worst part about it. I just thought that if one team was efficent enough that (like most CTF maps) it could be mercifully over in a short time.
