What do you mean?

And I enabled g_poison.. with nitmod damage style, and option 2.
2 : Enable - Poison can be cured by health cabinets, medpacks dropped by other medics and medic syringes.

Ok, my 2 cents....keep in mind, my 2 cents and another 1.48, you could buy a softdrink. I, and this is just a personal opinion, don't like so many of the retro maps. With the old, retro maps, there are too my choke points with too much arty. It gets old trying to jump through all of that to run into a camping shooter behind it. It just gets old.

Pros: fun server. Like the mod. Seen some maps that I haven't seen in many years, which is cool.

Cons: Too many old versions of maps with too many choke points, Ping high.

Let me also say I am hesitant to even mention anything negative. The work you guys have done rebuilding this once proud powerhouse of an ET server has been remarkable. I want you guys to know I appreciate the work you have put into this server, giving us a place to play. I hope you guys keep in mind that no matter what you do, you are not going to be able to please everyone. I would just want to encourage you guys to keep up the good work!

Few updates,
  • bots do not balance teams anymore. !bot 6 - adds 6 bots permanently, if a player joins there will still be 6 bots.
  • adrenaline disabled
  • everyone gets skill levels 0-4, for 5. 200xp is needed
  • ip max clients raised to 6 from 3
  • Modified Field Operations Specialist - subject to change again - lets call it a test
    • past, every 20s a team can arty/air strike, a fops needed 45 sec for full recharge, (one strike costs 2/3 charge = 30s).
    • now, every second a team can arty/air strike, a fops needs 45s for full recharge
      the caveat, there is no more (skill disabled)

      Signals Level 3: Improved Air and Ground Support
      Your expertise in identifying key enemy targets is rewarded by diverting more fire support resources to your designated targets. Each Air Strike now has two aircraft incoming and each Artillery Strike lasts twice as long.

  • Modified bots, to not use mortar, panzer, flamer and rifle nade. (Actually I already modified that, but seems I had modified the wrong file.)

Hi Pey,

I noticed the past couple days when a human enters the game the bots don't disconnect anymore? I came from B2 a few minutes ago it was 15v16 lagcity for me. I liked when they disconnected when a human joins up. Also noticed the teams are uneven at times 13v15. The other day I saw Defender defending with no humans on his team and the attacking team had 3 or 4 humans with a two man advantage (as I mentioned above 13v15). Did you change settings? We voted team balance off but it didn't help...

Hi

The change is made to do so you must balance the teams human vs human.
Looking at the picture, it's 16 (4) vs 15 (3) with 4 vs 3 human players. Next player will only be able to choose the Allies to make it 16 vs 16.

If there are 16 bots 8 vs 8 and I join the server, can I choose which team I want. If I choose Allies it becomes 8 vs 9 and then the next player must choose Axis and it gets 9 vs 9. This I could not test because I was alone. But if I understand Peyote correctly, should it work that way.

I have also seen that it is sometimes wrong and made a small test. Team balance should be ON but i also see that it dident do anything when it whas On ore Off when i do my test.

My test
If there are no bots and I choose Axis and then !bot 16 there will be 9 vs 8, but if I'm Allies without bots and choose !bot 16 so it becomes 9 vs 8 also. I have created a problem, for it to work then it should become 8 vs 9 so when the next player join only can join Axis.
I think when you add bots and it will start to check if there is a player in the Axis, and therefore it becomes wrong.

To solve this if it went wrong so we can say global on the server that whe removing all bots and that all players need to balance the teams and if it is uneven Axis must have a player more and then add bots in an even number. Not 100% sure but I think it will solve the problem.

This also works if you want to reduce or increase the number of bots I think, but make sure the teams are even whit real player and if they do not, it will have an Axis real player extra.

OK, here are my complaints. #! Adrenaline. It has been on the server. Connected today and it's gone. I wouldn't take dren from medics unless you are taking airstrakes/arty from fo, satchels from co, flack from engineers, and panzers from soldiers. Next thing, I was playing. Having a good time. Forget the map, but I had a panzer and was spreeing. In the middle of it, someone changed configurations (i think), and my player threw his panzer down as I read on the bottom of the screen that panzers were not available. Totally ruined my fun. So pissed off, i disconnected.

This is not the way to keep players. You have something going, don't keep changing so much so fast. As a rule, people do not like constant radical change. I, personally, like to know what i'm getting. I would much more be likely to connect to B2 if I know what I am getting instead of what are the "jacking with" next.

Adrenaline is disabled as Peyote say in post 44.
The Panzer thing i dont know. I also have that sometimes that i have playing whit a weapon and sudently get a weapon change. And when try to select it again it is not awable to select, To manny use it but it is strange because i use it and sudenly gone. I think a game Bug. This have happend on manny mods so not only N!tmod.

Pey please put B2 back to the way it use to be. The new "force balance" settings are garbage. I went in late last night for a few I joined the attacking team (allies) it was 8 vs 11 my team had 11. Having a 3 man advantage was super easy to complete the map and no fun :(. The next map was axis attack the teams where 8 v 9 or something like that was a little better but for some reason the teams go way off balance at times.

1; Team damage should be enabled during Warmup. (That's what Snoid meant I think)

2; Anything more than 10 bots [in case of no humans] (5 vs 5) is f***ing bathsit insane. IMO. Put on NO MORE than 10 bots, unless people ask for more, but then that should be temporary, and treat 10 as default. *

3; Teach bots to disconnect. Because right now, they don't. **


Other then these, I like the server as it is now. Settings are OK for me. I would of course love engy rifle to be more accurate, like on B4 *** but it isn't a big deal, I'm fine if rifle stays as it is.


* Come on, B10 which is bot server has 20 bots and I see B2 with 26 and 30??? WTF! Many players (including myself) don't join the fight on B2 because they hate bots like shit. As far as I know, we have bots on b2 because we want HUMAN PLAYERS on it, right??? Then there is no sane reason to keep a crapload of bots.

What is the sense of fighting for the life of B2, if we transform it into another B10, whit tons of bots running 24/7?

OK OK, Few days ago I was happy to see 5 vs 5 and 7 vs 7 humans with no bots. And THIS should be the thing we aim for, right? Bots should only be tools to get to that 5 vs 5 humans without bots, right???

** Right now bots stay, no matter how many humans join. Which is a problem because then using !nobots is the only way to get rid of them. They should disconnect like they did back then.

*** One of the reasons I started to play on B4 regularly. I find it LAME that both SMGs and Pistols with their short barrel, low energy and high recoil are MORE accurate than a long rifle [carbine] with a MUCH longer barrel, and higher caliber/energy, ballistically better bullet.

I really dont know... i cant find any b servers... and when i do it says something about old version, new version.. somebody is running it me or the server.. b is my favorite.. i want the ip to all b servers.. otherwise i dont know what is good for b2.. except that i wann play.. fix it so that i can get there ...it is nowhere on et online servers.. fix so everybody can find it! although i dont know ff would be good..

you can connect to bunker servers as follows:

open console (press the ~ button, it's located next to 1)
Then type: /connect bunker2.aaxxss.com ,and then press enter.

If you would like to join another Bunker server just put the server number at the number, so for Bunker 4 its /connect bunker4.aaxxss.com

This is the easiest way if it doesn't show up in the list.

If you face any problems with connecting please make a screenshot so we can help you out to fix the problem.

Ok enabled adrenaline again. Don't like it myself without either.

Modified that script which changes settings. So its now only changing inactivity times.
