Wow my ping was higher than a normal 30-35. Altho B1 was lag free and much better tonight, lets hope these bloody attacks are under control!!

Thanks to all involved with the fix!

I Play tonight.

And also see some strange when play but for me it is always high ping.

I can understand your point here that it is not good but whe can still have a great game at B1.

The lag you say is for al so all have same shit.

Dont stay out B1 for this mates, If it is realy terrible join B2 and play there. America time all euro is off so it cant be so bad and same for all.

Thx for the heads up. Sudden is already looking into it. To me it feels like we are being targeted for some reason since other servers don't seem to have this problem

we have a great tech department here at bunker nerosis is a wizard with firewalls. on linux.

I am very good with pf firewall from openBSD but I dont have much experience with iptables.  Ive used BSD for over a decade but I am not really a big fan of linux.  ;)

Besides, if you read pey's statement

So basically interserver will have to fix this hole. As I got also packet loss from a device which comes before b1 - probably a router.

firewall rules will not help here.

Agree as far as fix the problem. However, iptables can log the traffic as well, having information to push at the provider may get a solution. Interserver has been pushed, right? I'm guessing there is little leverage to use.

Other method to attack is go after the sources, report abuse to their ISPs, though I'm guessing this is mostly coming from zombie systems. Fake source UDP can be dealt with, but again, provider level (and really the big tiers should be policing that anyway).

Key is to make sure our system is clean, just in case the provider comes back with that as feedback to complaint ("Have you verified it's not a problem on your system?").

I was on bunker1 for a little bit last night, it really feels worse than just lag, though heavy packet loss makes sense. Sometimes felt like the world would repeat itself (so run run, then half step back, run run).

I dont think that it was bad for everyone last night. Just a few.  I saw Cap lag completely out several times.

I was lagging a little but not too bad.

I wish that peyote would move his server to the usa so that when b1 gets attacked we could go to b2.  ;)
