Ya that's a good site. I know we have old threads pertaining to this but good luck finding them.
I have a pretty good list of sites that covers everything so I'll edit this post and add them later you never know when it could be useful.
@CapTn Mongo created a thread I think about configs, or tutorials, something like that and you ended up replying and adding a link to F|A forums about a tutorial that one of there members created. Can you send me the link if you know what I'm talking about it's here somewhere in the forums just not sure under what title or section.
Also a good site to find mods, maps, etc: http://www.gamefront...enemy-territory
earlier it was called filefront and was the largest resource for doom3 stuff I knew.
It still has its sorted directory structure, but you can no longer browse it easily, just search it and view the path...
the once more or less well sorted site is now just a "dir /a /b /s /A-D" commad on the whole dir structure.
one 'hack' to still use the dir structure might be to search a file abouzt which you know that it has to be in the correct folder (like true combat elite when searching for mods) and then click on the correct part of the 'location' (like "Mods" in all TCE files will bring you to the mods folder where all mods are located: http://www.gamefront...territory/mods)
Off topic, but might be interesting - less about aim, more about thinking ahead. Although quake is so much faster.
That's exactly how I always played ET. When I started to get pretty good and this was before Bunker,I was in a clan with Fe35x called [LE] "Limited Edition" playing on ACI and into [CNH]. I think Bunker was (HSX) at the time, anyway it was something we discussed and once we all got headsets then that's when "thinking ahead" came into play even more. For me,it was something I took into consideration all the time. When you know an enemy(s) is around a corner I would set my aim at the head shot level and when they turned the corner BAM head shots. Listening to footsteps and the direction it's coming from. I was accused many times of "wall hacking" over this. Another trick, well not so much a trick but a different way of strafing.
Instead of strafing side to side while shooting I often rotate my strafing by auto run & pressing repeatedly wdza or is it wdxa anyway. Basically moving forward, right, back & left, forward, right, back, left and then switching, wazd forward, left, back, right, forward, left, back, right. It really screws players cause it's not common. Give it a try guys.
