Star Citizen received a major update just two days ago introducing its first-ever traversable planet, Hurston. It’s a pretty large place to explore, but the main attraction is Lorville, the only mega-city on this vast planet.

This week, Lorville will be hosting the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2948 at the Lorville Convention Centre. It’s the lorespeak for the 2018 Anniversary Free Fly event which will be running from November 23 to November 30, each day making available ships "free to fly" from a different in-lore ship manufacturer. Here’s the schedule:

November 23rd - Anvil Aerospace
November 24th - Roberts Space Industries
November 25th - Origin Jumpworks
November 26th - Aegis Dynamics
November 27th - Drake Interplanetary
November 28th - Exotics and Alien Imports
November 29th - Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern
November 30th - Kruger/Argo/Tumbril/Consolidated Outland

At the moment, however, new players will be spawning at Port Olisar, a space station orbiting the planet Crusader. Those who wish to visit the expo at Lorville, therefore, will have to make a journey across the solar system. Thankfully, there’s a guide available for players who may need one, detailing the steps required to reach Hurston. All players will also be given access to the RSI Cutlass Black for the entirety of this event, to make that trip less of a chore.

Cloud Imperium Games has also provided minimum specifications required to play the game as it is right now:

Windows 7 (64bit) with Service Pack 1, Windows 8 (64bit), Windows 10 - Anniversary Update (64bit)
DirectX 11 Graphics Card with 2GB RAM (4GB strongly recommended)
Quad Core CPU
16GB+ RAM
SSD strongly recommended
Drive should be NTFS formatted with at least 45 GB for the RSI Launcher and Star Citizen and at least 10GB - 20GB temporary space for file extraction
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.5.2

Additional guides are available here for those who may need them. The 2018 Anniversary Free Fly event starts at 8am PT on November 23, with ship manufacturers switching at the same time every day until November 30.
