Epic's Mega Sale is an ongoing affair at the moment, with controversies and all, and for the duration of it Epic is giving away one game for free, every week, rather than every fortnight. Stories Untold from last week remains to be on offer, and for this week RiME is joining it.

RiME is a third-person adventure title featuring environmental puzzles, developed by Tequila Works. Originally released in May of 2017, the game takes players through a story, with them stuck on an island. It was originally meant to feature an open-world environment, but that direction was replaced by a more linear storytelling approach during development.

It was received as a decent title by critics, with most of the criticism directed towards the game's story and puzzles. It, however, received favorable reviews from players at release, and was nominated for a number of accolades for its original soundtrack and sound design. Here's how the Epic Games Store describes the title:

Play as a young boy who has awakened on a mysterious island after a torrential storm. You see wild animals, long-forgotten ruins and a massive tower that beckons you to come closer. Armed with your wits and a will to overcome—and the guidance of a helpful fox—you must explore the enigmatic island, reach the tower's peak, and unlock its closely guarded secrets.

Epic Games Store is offering the title at no cost for players on Windows. Here are the minimum requirements for the game:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5 2310 2.9 GHz / AMD FX-6300
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: GTX 550 Ti 1GB / Radeon 6950 1GB or better
Storage: 7700 MB available space

If you wish to claim RiME, here’s its store page. Stories Untold is available here. Both titles will be available to claim for free until May 30, which is when Epic will put fourth City of Brass for its next giveaway.
